Barak and His Comrades

Barak looked like an old homeboy next to the Little Venezuelan Eggplant.  It was obvious he felt a little exposed tradin’ pleasantries with Chavez and cameras in the room. Do you realize how rare it is to catch two despots smiling in the same frame? That kind of scene usually requires Photoshop, but Barak did it! He did it! We’re talkin’ change, bro, change we can believe in.

Neither despot could hide his giddiness; they connected—big time. When O walked in the room, Little Big Mouth lit up! It was comrades at first sight.  Chavez sees in Obama an up-and-comer he can mentor like Castro mentored him. O's the little brother Chavez never had and Chavez's the big brother O's always wanted.  Welcome to the family, little bro!

Now that O's joined the gang, Venezuela’s Little Commie Who Could and Cuba’s Chewbacca can hardly believe their own press. They recognized O's despotic savantism right away and they’re elated; tickled red. The goal they’ve tried and failed to achieve for decades has just fallen into their laps! The two dictators are punch-drunk about having a despot in the White House. Chavez and Castro exchanged jabs and placed bets on how long it would take O to destroy American free enterprise.  By the looks of things, not very long. Evidentally, O is a quick understudy.

I just can’t wait to see what happens when O and Castro embrace.  Better yet, when O, Castro and Chavez do a group hug. I bet there’ll be “fireworks.”  I’ve always said, “There’s nothing like comrades, Coronas and Havanas together in a pub overlooking El Malecón. Maybe O and his peeps can meet over May Day and enjoy the festivities together. Heck, O should fabricate a diplomatic crisis in Honduras and use it as an excuse to hang with his homies through the US Independence Day holiday. Better yet, maybe he should stay for good. You feelin’ me bro?!
